"I make pretty pictures, and write cool words down from time to time. Some combinations tell stories for me. Some are glorious, some are garish, some are flat-out nightmarish. They're ALL engraved invitations into my worlds. Watch your step."
Danny was once a very quiet & shy little boy from the Bronx, in New York City. He started his career early and doodled during recess in grade school and junior high. In high school, he aimed to expand his understanding of anatomy, and his art was featured in the yearbook as the staff cartoonist & co-designer.
Dan attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and refined those passions further, in the pursuit to be an illustrator/graphic designer. Some of the most influential and important relationships in his art career were forged during those days, as a result. Much to his delight, the education never ended. Dan’s art continues to evolve. He’s working on his own graphic novel(s), when not committed to other storytelling pursuits in various media formats.
To the casual observer he's still shy in numerous social settings though, and has nominal difficulty with figures of speech. He has been called a "Grammar Nazi" for his one man jihad against the casual & systematic abuse and mistreatment of pronouns, leading the fight to drop name(s), or drop the issue in even the most casual of conversation. He seems to enjoy writing in the third person, and needs a shave periodically.
If you happen to spot an electric Dan in the wilds of New York, approach with caution and a piece of carrot cake in the name of sincerity. Or a kitty. :P
